Making Music with Special Children
This course is packed with practical music-making ideas for people working with children who have complex needs. The aim is to enable them to communicate and express themselves through music. And to have fun!
This popular course is two days long: in York the days will be consecutive days, on 26th and 27th November, and in London the first day will be 25th November and the second will be 27th January.
For more information see the course leaflet 2013.
Jessie’s Fund, with its proven track record in delivering stimulating music training, is offering one day workshops to staff in schools for children with special needs. These workshops take place in your school and are open to all: those without previous musical training are at no disadvantage! Typical topics covered are:
- exploring musical instruments
- working with pulse and rhythm
- musical conversations
- music tailored to the needs of children in your school
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I have learnt so much and
have gained confidence in an area in which I had so little.
Thank you for a fantastic course!
