Songs to Sing
The first rule is sing and sing whatever you like. Good sources of songs may include:
- Well known traditional children's songs.
- Songs featured in films or television programmes.
- Well known pop songs and karaoke.
- Songs that are known in your school.
- Songs that include actions or develop speech.
- Songs with lots of repetition.
- Specially written songs from published collections such as Okki-Tokki-Unga, Apusskidu (both published by A & C Black), or Hello Children, published by Schotts.
- Songs you like.
- Songs your pupils like.
